Youth with a Bird

A miniature vertical artwork created in the rare technique of straw art using pyrography (burning), a craft practiced by only a handful of masters in Uzbekistan. Against a deep blue background, the piece depicts a young man in traditional Oriental attire and a turban, gently holding a small bird in his hands. The golden-yellow and brown hues, achieved by burning natural straw fibers to varying degrees, impart a unique sense of volume and warmth to the imagery. The artwork comes complete with its original wooden frame and beige mat (measuring 20×24 cm), ready to be hung on the wall.
