On the way to blessing

This bright and uplifting work was created in the style of realism and reflects one of the most intimate and colorful moments of Uzbek village life. In the center of the composition, a cheerful grandfather wearing a national jacket (capon), blue pants, maxi and turban, with a smile and light shining on his face, is depicted walking on a donkey. The large, golden melons on his lap and saddle are the juicy and blessed fruit of long labor. The majestic blue mountains in the background, wide expanses and lush green fields in the foreground, scattered melons here and there beautifully convey the scale of the landscape and the richness of the autumn harvest. The artist was able to depict the harmony of nature and man, the simple human joy that comes from work in very warm and lively colors.
